Two roasts, two modes: how we drink through a build
Morning blend for the planning brain, midnight roast for the shipping brain.
We sell two coffees because a build has two speeds, and caffeine should match the gearbox.
Morning blend is for the planning brain. Medium roast, nutty, forgiving of distracted brewing. This is the coffee for reading issues, writing specs and pretending today will go according to them. One cup, maybe two, before noon.
Midnight roast is for the shipping brain. Dark, cocoa-heavy, zero acid — built for the evening when the deadline stopped being theoretical. It holds up in espresso for the committed and in a V60 for the contemplative.
The honest caffeine rules we live by: nothing after 14:00 on normal days (your 23:00 self is begging); the midnight exception is for actual midnights, not Tuesdays; and water alongside every cup, because a headache at hour six of a debugging session has two possible causes and you can eliminate one for free.
Roast dates matter more than origin stories. Every bag we ship is stamped with its roast date, and it ships within the week. Coffee is produce, not pantry — treat it like the fresh thing it is.

The 14:00 cutoff rule hurt to read and fixed my sleep in four days.
